If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT PUT THEM HERE!!!! I cannot speak to the assisted living section, which is all they seem to care about, since those residents are able to communicate with their families, but the memory care wing is abysmal, negligent, and I have to believe in violation of several laws. Particularly since this is where the more nonverbal residents are. Their website speaks to quality of food, which in memory care, is not fit to feed a dog. Their answer???? Memory care receives different food from assisted living, which is an understatement.
I've called this facility to schedule a tour. I have an elderly mother, and though she doesn't need assisted living yet, I want to be prepared for that likelihood. I've scheduled tours with several facilities to see which would be the best fit should that day come. I called Oakmont of the Lakes on Monday and left a voicemail. No call back. I called again on Tuesday at 9:30AM This time I spoke to a representative who said she worked at the front desk . She checked to see if their Marketing Representative was available to speak to me.
Staff is welcoming and friendly! Beautiful and clean facility all around. I have been to many assisted livings in Las Vegas and this one is by far the best in town.
