TLDR: Best of the best. Dr. Burrus is a solid orthopedic surgeon. Expert, informative, doesn’t talk over your head, great communicator and supportive start to finish. My son is doing *so well* post the MPFL knee-reconstruction surgery he had recently. The Deets: My 14 y.o. had a tricky knee that would go out on him whenever he pushed himself in basketball or strenuous legwork. I’d made an appointment, not knowing much of anything about Dr. Burrus, other than seeing a laundry list of credentials and glowing reviews. All legit.

I attended with my son an appointment with Dr. Burrows on September 20 at 3707 S 2nd St location trying to seek a second treatment opinion, since my 20 years old son had a fatal car accident (where he was the passenger), and after spending almost two months in the hospital, several surgeries on the vertebrae in his neck, major surgery on his right femur, amputation of his right arm, and a prognosis of complex trauma to his right knee. After examining my son, Dr. Burrows told us that my son needed to wear a special brace to help stabilize a femur and tibia subluxation and a PCL tear.

I was referred to Dr. Burrus after a severe knee injury. Straightforward, no nonsense appointments and a successful surgery. Highly recommended.
